- 71gDistilled water
- 0,5g Glycerin
- 0,5g Xanthana gum
- 3g Jojoba Oil
- 2g Argan Oil
- 2g Coconut Oil
- 2g Olive Oil
- 1g Shea Butter
- 1g Kokum Butter
- 7g Emulsifier Olivem 1000 (possible replacement with emulsifier)
- 3g Panthenol (provitamin B5)
- 1g Allantoin
- 1g Inulin
- 1g Phytokeratin
- 17 drops Cosgard Preservative (can be replaced with natural preservative)
Here is the recipe for the moisturizing face cream shared by Stefano!
Preparation
Put the xanthan gum and glycerin in a container and mix well, add the water and let it rest for a few minutes
Put all the oils, butters and emulsifier in another container and mix well
Put the two containers in a water bath separately
When the temperature of the two phases is 70 °, slowly pour the "fat" phase (the one with the oils) into the "aqueous" phase
First mix with a spoon and then use a blender or an electric whisk to create the emulsion
Allow to cool and add all the other ingredients to the mixture
Measure the pH which must be about 5.5 and if necessary add a few drops of lactic acid to lower it
Pour into the final container (properly sterilized and clean !!!)
How to use
This cream is extremely useful in this winter period especially when our skin becomes dry and flaky.
