Melaleuca Leucadendron Cajuputi Leaf Oil

Melaleuca Cajuputi is a plant of the Myrtaceae family widespread in Australia, South East Asia and New Guinea. It looks like a medium-height tree (40 meters), characterized by a greyish-white bark and elongated leaves arranged alternately. The yellowish-white flowers are grouped in spikes at the ends of the branches. Cajuputi essential oil is obtained with the steam distillation method and is presented as a straw yellow liquid. It has many beneficial properties, many of which can be superimposed on those of the better known Tea Tree essential oil, so much so that it is often also referred to as White Tea Tree. Unlike classic Tea Tree, it has a less penetrating scent. It is mainly appreciated for its antibacterial, protective, balsamic and soothing properties.
