Silky body butter

Silky body butter
DIFFICULTY
INGREDIENTS:

- 40g Shea Butter

- 40g Cocoa butter

- 5g Castor wax

- 10g Grapeseed or Sunflower Oil

- 5 Drops Essential Orange Oil (or whichever you prefer)

- 5 Drops Lavender essential oil (or whichever you prefer)

Our tireless friends at La Stanza Bio are always experimenting with new recipes... here is one they have just shared with us! Thank you girls and you have the floor :) : "Have you come back from the sea and feel like you have 'snake scale' effect skin? No Panic! If you follow this recipe, which is very easy to prepare, you'll have a very useful body butter in your hands to melt... you'll see what a beneficial effect it will have on your skin!"

Preparation

Melt the butters together with the beeswax in a bain-marie. Once the mixture has cooled down, add the grapeseed oil and the chosen essences and stir.

Pour the mixture into the chosen moulds and leave to solidify in the fridge for a couple of hours.

Once the butters have hardened you can remove them from the moulds.

How to use

Take the body butter and rub it on your body or the affected area after showering with your skin still dry.

As it is a butter it will take longer than a body cream for it to absorb, so if you like, after application you can rinse a little with water and then pat dry with a towel.

The effect will be very soft and super moisturised skin!

You can also use it in winter when you feel your skin is too dry!
