After-sting gel
DIFFICULTY
INGREDIENTS:

For 250 g

PHASE A

- 66,25g Chamomile hydrolate

- 147,25g Water

- 4g Xanthan gum

PHASE B

- 5g o.e mint

- 2.5g o.e tea tree

- 2.5g o.e of lavender

- 1.25g o.e. thyme

- 2.5g propolis extract

- 1.5g preservative Nobact

A special ally for summer days, this gel immediately relieves the itching caused by mosquito bites while also calming skin redness.

Preparation

Add slowly to water the xanthan gum and camomile hydrolate and stir vigorously to avoid lumps.

Let the gel rest for about 10 minutes.

Add all of phase B, one ingredient at a time, mixing well with each addition.

Note: the pH of the preparation is about 5-5.5

Measure the pH using a phmeter or litmus paper, if the pH is not between 5-5.5 adjust it with:

- 30% caustic soda solution if the ph is below 5

- lactic or citric acid if the pH is above 5.5

CAUTION! Work with a graduated pipette and add a drop or two at a time!

How to use

Don't forget it and take it with you in summer days, it immediately soothes the itching and burning of mosquito bites. After applying it, let it dry: it will form a film on the application site. After the itching has disappeared, wash the area on which the gel was applied.

It can be stored for 3-4 months!
