Vitamin E lip balm
DIFFICULTY
INGREDIENTS:

- 10 g castor wax

- 10g Shea butter 

- 5g Sweet almond oil

- 1g Vitamin E

Making a lip balm at home is very simple, just a few ingredients and very little time! We made this butter in collaboration with Elisa Gamberi of Amando.it, the recipe and the procedure can also be found here!

The good part of homemade cocoa butter

This cocoa butter contains only natural ingredients and has excellent moisturizing and emollient properties.

In fact, beeswax has a strong nourishing action on the skin, Shea butter has healing, emollient, elasticizing, soothing and antioxidant properties to deeply nourish the lips and nourish them when they are chapped, sweet almond oil is emollient, softening, nourishing and soothing, and finally vitamin E is a very powerful antioxidant and has an anti-aging action on the lips.

Preparation

  1. melt the beeswax completely in a water bath (over low heat);
  2. when the wax is completely dissolved, add all the other ingredients together, mixing until they have all melted and combined with the wax.
  3. when always continuing to stir the mixture is semi-thickened pour it into the containers. (remember to disinfect them with alcohol)
