- 975g olive oil (65%)
- 300g coconut oil (20%)
- 75g palm oil (5%)
- 75g pumpkin oil (5%)
- 75g castor oil (5%)
- 450g Distilled water
- 203g Soda (6%)
- 1 spoon of green clay
- a handful of poppy seeds
- 25 ml of ylang ylang essential oil
Olive oil, which is present for 65%, is self-produced and absolutely organic.
Preparation
Cold method.
The caustic soda is poured into distilled water using a pyrex container due to the high temperature that the solution reaches (reaches up to 90 °);
Start to heat the oils in a normal high-necked cooking pan, when both the oils and the soda have reached a temperature of 45/50 °, pour the soda into the oil and mix everything, using a blender immersion.
At the so-called "trace" phase (dropping a drop, this remains a little on the surface before falling down), the whole is poured into the molds of the preferred shape; it is left to rest for 48 hours wrapped in a wool blanket, then it is removed from the molds and left to "mature" in a cool place for about a month!
How to use
Use as a normal soap.
