We produce all our creations here, in an artisan workshop equipped with modern technology and precision instruments to guarantee safe, top-quality production.
Passion is produced here: our products are made with pure passion, love for what we do, for genuine, wholesome things made with our hearts and minds, and not just with our hands!
In this department
TOMMASO
The first to enter the laboratory and the last to leave! He motivates the entire production team with his cheerful ways, but he takes planning and organising very seriously!
Favourite product and why: Mediterranean Bath and Shower Gel, because it’s simple and good.
stefania
She and the turbo emulsifier make a great team... that always produces the very best creams! As they say, "You know when you’re onto a winner!"
Favourite product and why: Wow Line 3-in-1 Eye Contour Cream, because I know what I'm putting into it, and it's fabulous!
ANDREA
Andrea works on our soaps, but also takes care of the shampoos and creams. He’s really enthusiastic about his job, and always comes into the laboratory with a smile and a kind word for everyone!
Favourite product and why: Sweet Orange Shampoo. It’s perfect for my hair, and I wouldn't change it for the world!
MARCO
Marco is our master soapmaker par excellence! Perhaps not everyone knows that here at La Saponaria, soap is still made by hand, poured into moulds, cured and cut with the traditional method we’ve always used. Marco says he loves this aspect of what he does!
Favourite product and why: Rose and Shea Butter Soap. I’ve grown fond of it because I have made many since I have been here.
EMANUELA
Manu is the queen of the semi-automatic, and her closest colleagues say she’s the fastest woman in La Saponaria! Surrounded by bottles, jars and smiles, she’s always ready to come to the rescue of anyone in need.
Favourite product and why: Rose Hand Cream: simple and irreplaceable.
RADA
Rada is in charge of product packaging: semi-automatics and packaging machines have no secrets for her. Always cheerful and friendly, teamwork is her strong point!
Favourite product and why: Mirtilla Cleansing Mousse, because just a little is enough to cleanse the whole face and it lasts a long time!
NICOLA
Nico is our official production technician. Curious and impassioned, he says that he has made friends with the machines by now, and that taking care of them is extremely satisfying!
Favourite product and why: Almond and Ginger Soap, for its super scent!
SARA
Sara says that everyone’s she’s found here is lovely, always willing to help each other and work in harmony. When we say 'made with love', we mean it!
Favourite product and why: Eyelash and Eyebrow Strengthening Serum, but I love everything, really!
PERSIDA
Persi is allergic to monotony. She says she enjoys coming to work because there are always so many different things going on here, with plenty of little surprises and big adventures!
Favourite product and why: Leggera Leg Cream: in both summer and winter, it’s perfect for those who spend a lot of time on their feet!
MARIO
Mario is our gentle giant! Since he joined the laboratory, the girls in production have never done any heavy lifting!
Favourite product and why: SPF 20 Sun Lotion, because it’s easy to apply and smells great!
LAURA
Laura is the queen of packaging and wrapping. Kind and smiling, she is always ready to rush to the aid of anyone who needs a hand.
Favourite product and why: the Shea Butter Soft Body Cream, because it has a wonderful fragrance, is non-greasy, leaves the skin soft and dries quickly.

ANDREA
Andrea can turn his hand to anything. You’ll find him running between the production line and the semi-automatic and turbo machines. He’s our problem solver, our very own Mr Wolf.
Favourite product and why: Shea Butter, because it’s simple, practical and has all sorts of uses.
FEDERICA
Federica Federica is in charge of packaging the products that come to life and leave our workshop every day. There are so many, and she knows every one.
Favourite product and why: Moringa and Sunflower Leave-in Conditioner, our no-rinse conditioner. I like it because it leaves my hair really soft.
