Brufolo Kill is the serum to apply locally to pimples to remedy redness and see the blemish dry up and disappear faster.

Formulated with a mix of succinic and shikimic acid, which help regulate sebum production and limit pore build-up, kaolin and green clay, which act on blackheads by drying them out, and vitamin E, green tea and red vine, which are antioxidant and regenerating.

In addition, soothing and refreshing ingredients such as bisabolol and aloe provide immediate relief and act on pimple inflammation.

How to use it

Apply the serum, twice a day, only to areas where pimples and blemishes are present. Use on undamaged skin.

Succinic Acid

One of the most talked-about actives of the moment is succinic acid, which is particularly appreciated by acne-prone skin for several reasons. Studies have shown significant activity of succinic acid against one of the bacteria responsible for acne formation, Propionibacterium Acnes.

It is also an ideal ally due to its smoothing action: it counteracts blemishes and spots, including those caused by ageing, helps to make wrinkles and scars left by acne less noticeable, and makes the complexion even.

Succinic acid has a high regenerating power but at the same time is dermocompatible and non-photo-sensitising. It gently and effectively helps skin regeneration by gently exfoliating, making the skin radiant and toned. Finally, it helps combat free radicals by performing an antioxidant and anti-ageing action.

Shikimic Acid

Shikimic acid is extracted from star anise and is ideal for combating skin blemishes. Recent studies have shown an inhibiting action of shikimic acid against Propionibacterium Acnes, one of the main bacteria responsible for acne; it also has the ability to regulate sebum production. It is also a gentle exfoliant that promotes skin turnover without irritating the skin, making the complexion even and radiant.

The Witch Hazel constitutional water present in our beauty products comes from the high Val Varaita and is a circular economy ingredient from a wonderful agricultural cooperative.

Cold Drying

The extraction of witch hazel's constitutional water is carried out through an innovative process that uses open-cell technology to recover the water contained in the tissue of dried witch hazel plants. The open-cell drying method removes water from the plants while preserving the integrity of the cell membrane, along with its active ingredients, aroma, and fragrance.

For this reason, the final product is called constitutive or cellular water and exhibits a distinctive energy characteristic derived from the plant that produced it.
